Frequently Asked Questions

 

  • Your invitations should be mailed at least 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. For destination weddings, we recommend sending them even farther in advance (up to 12 weeks before the wedding date) to give your guests plenty of time to make travel arrangements.

  • In addition to creating your wedding invitations, we can also help you create save the dates, as well as all of your day of stationery! Standard day of choices include: programs, menus, signage, napkins, welcome letters and favors. But it doesn’t have to stop there!

  • Yes! In addition to wedding invites, we can also create invitations for rehearsal parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby announcements, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs etc.

  • Yes, we can address your invitations for you! You supply the guest list, and we work with you to set up and print the guest and return addresses on all of your envelopes, including the response envelopes. We can help guide you to the proper way to set uo your guest list into a spreadsheet for easily exporting into our design files.

  • (copied) We recommend at least 10% extra. Take into consideration last minute additions, replacing an item gone rogue in the mail, an incorrect address, keepsakes, and also copies for your photographer, videographer and possibly wedding planner.

  • (copied) Yes and No. If you have an element you would like to include – a watercolor a friend may have gifted you, or a monogram your mom created, or if you are your partner are artists/designers, we are happy to incorporate these elements into our process. In all cases we will review the artwork/files together to make sure that they will work with the materials and print you choose.

  • (Copied) It’s never too soon to begin conceptualizing the design of your stationery, but it is a good idea to have a wedding date, and your venues selected. It is also helpful to have a rough idea of how many guests you will be inviting.
